Resolve Error Messages

Interpret common errors and take the fastest safe fix before escalating.

Steps

  1. Read the exact error message and note when it occurred.
  1. Identify what you were doing when it appeared:
      • Payment
      • Login/access
      • Terminal connection
      • Sync/posting
  1. Try the lowest-risk fix once:
      • Refresh and retry
      • Confirm network/terminal connection
      • Confirm youโ€™re in the correct office/location
  1. If the error persists, capture details:
      • Error text
      • Patient (if applicable)
      • Reference ID/transaction ID (if applicable)
      • Screenshot and timestamp

What Happens Next

  • Some errors resolve once connectivity or sync timing stabilizes.
  • Repeatable errors should be escalated with the captured details.

Youโ€™ll Know It Worked When

  • The workflow completes successfully after the retry.
  • The expected result appears in PayStack (and in the PMS, if applicable) within normal timing.

Common Issues

  • Payment-related error: confirm terminal connectivity and retry once.
  • Access-related error: log out/in or reset password if needed.
  • Sync-related error: wait for normal sync timing, then re-check before retrying again.
