Set Up Sikka Sync

Connect Sikka and confirm balances and data sync as expected.

Steps

  1. Confirm Sikka is the integration your office uses for balance/data sync.
  1. Open PayStack integration settings and select Sikka.
  1. Follow the connection steps (credentials/authorization).
  1. Confirm what is expected to sync (for example: patient balances and related billing data).
  1. Run a quick validation:
      • Pick 1–2 patients.
      • Compare balances in the PMS vs Billing/PayStack.
      • Wait for normal sync timing and re-check.

What Happens Next

  • Once connected, Sikka syncs data on a schedule. Recent changes may take time to appear.
  • Billing automation and statement eligibility depend on the latest synced balances.

You’ll Know It Worked When

  • The Sikka integration shows as connected/active.
  • Sample patient balances match between the PMS and Billing/PayStack (within normal sync timing).

Common Issues

  • Balances are delayed: wait for the next sync cycle and refresh.
  • Some patients match and others don’t: capture examples and escalate—this may be a mapping issue.
  • Statements are going to the wrong patients: confirm balance sync is current before sending a batch.
