Set Up Sikka Sync
Connect Sikka and confirm balances and data sync as expected.
Steps
- Confirm Sikka is the integration your office uses for balance/data sync.
- Open PayStack integration settings and select Sikka.
- Follow the connection steps (credentials/authorization).
- Confirm what is expected to sync (for example: patient balances and related billing data).
- Run a quick validation:
- Compare balances in the PMS vs Billing/PayStack.
- Wait for normal sync timing and re-check.
What Happens Next
- Once connected, Sikka syncs data on a schedule. Recent changes may take time to appear.
- Billing automation and statement eligibility depend on the latest synced balances.
You’ll Know It Worked When
- The Sikka integration shows as connected/active.
- Sample patient balances match between the PMS and Billing/PayStack (within normal sync timing).
Common Issues
- Balances are delayed: wait for the next sync cycle and refresh.
- Some patients match and others don’t: capture examples and escalate—this may be a mapping issue.
- Statements are going to the wrong patients: confirm balance sync is current before sending a batch.
