Connect Your Practice Management System

Connect your PMS and confirm what data syncs between systems.

Steps

  1. Identify your Practice Management System (PMS) (for example, Dentrix or Eaglesoft).
  1. Open PayStack integration settings and select your PMS.
  1. Follow the connection steps (credentials/authorization and office selection).
  1. Confirm what will sync (for example: patients, balances, and payment posting behavior).
  1. Validate with a small test:
      • Pull up a patient.
      • Confirm the patient and balance data look correct.
      • Process a small test action (if available) and confirm it appears in both systems.

What Happens Next

  • PayStack syncs data with your PMS on a schedule.
  • Recent changes may take time to appear depending on sync timing.

You’ll Know It Worked When

  • The integration shows as connected/active.
  • Sample patients/balances match between the PMS and PayStack/Billing (within normal sync timing).

Common Issues

  • Patients or balances look wrong: confirm the correct office/location and integration mapping.
  • Payments not posting back: confirm posting is enabled and wait for normal sync timing before retrying.
  • Only some records sync: capture examples and escalate—this is often a mapping/config issue.
