Connect PayStack to Your Software

Connect PayStack to your PMS and confirm data syncs correctly.

Steps

  1. Identify the system you’re connecting (your Practice Management System (PMS) or other integration).
  1. Open PayStack integration settings (portal or setup flow, depending on your office).
  1. Select the integration and follow the connection steps (credentials/authorization).
  1. Confirm what will sync (patients, balances, payments, statements, etc.).
  1. Run a small test:
      • Take a test payment or sync a single patient (if available).
      • Confirm the result appears in both PayStack and the PMS.

What Happens Next

  • Once connected, PayStack exchanges data with your PMS based on the integration rules and sync schedule.
  • Sync timing can vary, so recent changes may take time to appear.

You’ll Know It Worked When

  • The integration shows as connected/active.
  • A test action (payment/balance update) appears in the PMS within normal sync timing.

Common Issues

  • Connected but data isn’t syncing: confirm the sync schedule and check for recent changes that are still within the normal delay window.
  • Wrong office/location: verify you connected the integration for the correct office.
  • Some records sync and others don’t: capture examples and escalate—this can be a mapping issue.
