Connect PayStack to Your Software
Connect PayStack to your PMS and confirm data syncs correctly.
Steps
- Identify the system you’re connecting (your Practice Management System (PMS) or other integration).
- Open PayStack integration settings (portal or setup flow, depending on your office).
- Select the integration and follow the connection steps (credentials/authorization).
- Confirm what will sync (patients, balances, payments, statements, etc.).
- Run a small test:
- Take a test payment or sync a single patient (if available).
- Confirm the result appears in both PayStack and the PMS.
What Happens Next
- Once connected, PayStack exchanges data with your PMS based on the integration rules and sync schedule.
- Sync timing can vary, so recent changes may take time to appear.
You’ll Know It Worked When
- The integration shows as connected/active.
- A test action (payment/balance update) appears in the PMS within normal sync timing.
Common Issues
- Connected but data isn’t syncing: confirm the sync schedule and check for recent changes that are still within the normal delay window.
- Wrong office/location: verify you connected the integration for the correct office.
- Some records sync and others don’t: capture examples and escalate—this can be a mapping issue.
